Looking to raise the profile of geothermal energy with a diverse set of audience, GEORG launched in 2018 two new geothermal communication concepts/initiatives. #GeothermalFriday, a weekly series on social media to promote geothermal efforts and #LetsTalkGeothermal, a series of video interviews with geothermal actors who are shaping the future of the geothermal energy. 


Let‘s talk geothermal

GEORG goes audiovisual and features a series of interviews with experts related directly or indirectly to the geothermal field. “Let’s Talk Geothermal” was launched in January 2019



GEORG was nominated last year for the CHARGE Energy Branding Conference for the Best Organization Category.
The conference took place in a hybrid format in Reykjavik on September 28th & 29th, 2020. Over the past years, GEORG has been actively working on its digital marketing strategy. Being already an entry point for those who have an interest in the geothermal sector in Iceland and abroad, and having already established a Knowledge Hub around its structure, GEORG set up its strategic purpose around continuing to create shared value in the geothermal sector and actively contribute to sustainability around the world.
We are thrilled by this nomination and look forward to continuing to create value and opportunities in the geothermal sector.
