WGC2020+1

The kick-off event with a high-profile line-up of speakers and details to be shared about the World Congress events and logistics provide a great opportunity to prepare for an exciting 7 months of all things geothermal.

We have secured a great line up of speakers. Joining us will be Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy, Thórdís Kolbrún Gylfadóttir, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Innovation of Iceland,  Edda Síf  Pind Aradóttir,  CEO  of  CarbFix, Ahmad Yuniarto, President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, and Andrea Blair, President of the International Geothermal Association. This kick-off event will be chaired by Hidda Thorsteinsson, Head of Research at Reykjavik Energy, and Dr Bjarni Pálsson, Chairman of the Organising Committee and Head of Geothermal at Landsvirkjun.
