It’s a wrap for the World Geothermal Congress 2026- what a week!
GEORG & ORKIS organized several sessions & events at the WGC2026 with full rooms & important discussions that highlighted the importance of international collaboration to advance geothermal energy:

♨️ Dialogue with Public Authorities on International Collaboration – co-organized with GEOTHERMICA Initiative
♨️ Presentation on the GEOTHERMICA Initiative
♨️ Presentation on Social License to Operate based on the work of the COMPASS Project & EPOS ON
Thanks to the International Geothermal Association & Marit Brommer for making all of this possible, the GEOTHERMICA Initiative, IEA Geothermal, EPOS ON Project, & Krafla Magma Testbed (KMT) for co-organizing sessions at the WGC with us, & Green by Iceland for coordinating the Icelandic delegation & promoting Icelandic innovation at the congress.
