Geothermal Research Cluster – GEORG hosted the General Assembly and Governing Board Meeting of the CETPartnership in Reykjavik, Iceland on 27 & 28 of May. The meeting took place at the stunning Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre, a strategic hub for high-level discussions.

The focus of the meetings was to advance the third consecutive Joint Call 2024, which aims to implement the EU SET-Plan through dynamic transnational collaborations. These efforts are crucial for driving the energy transition and ensuring a sustainable future for Europe.

Geothermal Research Cluster – GEORG plays a pivotal role in co-leading the CETPartnership Call Module 6 HeatingAndCooling and Call Module 7 GeothermalEnergyTechnologies. Our mission is to develop impactful calls in collaboration with over thirty European national representatives that align with our shared European goals, emphasising efficient zero-emission heating and cooling solutions.

Proposal submissions for JointCall2024 will begin in September.
